Dr. William F. Smith is an award-winning board-certified dermatologist who had been practicing for 25 years, and is a lifelong exercise and fitness enthusiast. Dr. Smith partnered with his daughter Kelsey at Pro Fit to share his passion for health and wellness with others. Dr. Smith is the President and CEO of the Louisville Dermatology Institute, where he has built a reputation for compassion, integrity and the extraordinary care he provides to his patients for more than two decades.
He is a Presidential Scholar and honor graduate at Murray State University with an undergraduate degree in engineering physics, and an honor graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Smith served as a physician and flight surgeon in the United States Navy for nine years, achieving the rank of Commander and serving as the valedictorian of his class at the Naval Aerospace Medicine Institute in Pensacola.
Dr. Smith provides a unique, scientifically-based approach with customized solutions tailored specially to the needs of each individual patient. His primary interests are weight reduction and management, hormone replacement therapy, optimizing athletic performance, and slowing or reversing the aging process.
